Little Tikes kitchen sets comprise a wide variety of toys focused mainly on interactive cooking type activities. There are a number of products to choose from within the range. Interactivity is encouraged by leveraging technologies such as RFID to engage young children's attention, and teach them while they are having fun.
Pictured left is the Side-by-Side Kitchen range.
This is currently the smallest in the Little Tikes kitchens range of products. It is designed to easily facilitate the "side by side" play for 2 or more children.
The features include -
- A front towel rail complete with a real towel. Teach your kids to clean up after their cooking experiments.
- An electronic noise generator that simulates the sounds of real cooking on the plates.
- Counter top features a sink with taps.
- Front section houses an oven and a refrigerator.
This unit requires 2 AA size batteries.
The corner styling of the entire design makes for very easy and compact storage when it is not in use.

This item is a comprehensive piece of educational equipment, disguised as a super fun toy. It incorporates RFID technology. It has 2 modes of operation - free play mode is when the kids just play however they like - and, a learning mode where the integrated RFID provides a more structured play approach that teaches them about ingredients and simple recipes by voice prompt.
Its comes standard with 3 food sets - the breakfast set, the veggie stir fry set and the cutting fruit salad set. All of them incorporate the RFID technology. This toy is designed for kids aged from 3 years and upwards.
On the left we have the Inside/Outside Cook 'n Grill Kitchen set. A very neat design that offers a play area on both sides of the unit.
In the front is the "inside" kitchen part, featuring an electronic sound generator that mimics the stove-top use, a coffee pot in which the coffee disappears, and a refrigerator with a magnetic door. The front part also contains an oven, a dishwasher and a large sink.
The outside part of the unit is the grill. It offers a very realistic look, with a picnic table and bench and a stone patio. The grill also has electronic sounds to mimic the sound of food cooking.
A range of optional accessories are also available, as can be seen in the picture above. This play scene toy is designed for kids aged from 3 years and upwards.
